I have 2 cases where I have seen that SCOM 2012 is unable to access the windows event log. 1. I have an agent managed Windows 2008 Server Standard SP2 that won't allow access to:The Windows Event Log Provider is still unable to open the Microsoft-Windows-PrintService/Admin event log The specified channel could not be found. Check channel configuration. 2. I have multiple agentless managed Windows 2008 servers that will not allow the Proxy Agent access to the event logs:The Windows Event Log Provider is still unable to open the Application event log on computer Access is Denied
