Hello,

When the pop-window is generated, what is the HTTP status code that the
website returns?

Maybe you can modify the status codes that generate alerts in the Web
Application Editor.

Best regards,

Subject: [msmom] Web App Transaction Monitor - login fail not caught
Date: Fri, 7 Mar 2014 17:49:32 -0500

In SCOM 2012 SP1, I am attempting to configure a Web Application
Transaction Monitor for a BMC Remedy ARS website. I used the Web
Recorder to capture the login. I can watch the log on the Remedy server
and see the account succesfully logging on at the watcher node
intervals, so the configuration appears to be working.

The problem comes in when the login fails - the monitor does not change
state.

>From a manual test, I can see that when a logon fails, a pop-up window
is generated stating "Authenticaion Failed." The main page URL does not
change.

Any ideas on how to monitor this type of site properly?
