Hi team, Our SQL team acknowledges that the SQL mirroring is out of sync 15 minutes at a time and then come back just fine and received many alerts as it seems the monitoring usually hit when it is out of sync time. So far we tried to increase the Timeout (sec) and Interval (sec) thresholds but still alerts more than needed.
Is it possible and how to setup just these mirroring alerts that only send the email alert after say 5 monitoring periods? I'm aware of SMTP channel setup with delay notification but that accommodates all other alerts, we just want to set these particular mirror alerts only. Thought reading somewhere that this could possibly done but haven't got any luck Googling nor from checking the properties of the monitor. Any pointer you may have is greatly appreciated.
