Is anyone else having issues with SCOM after installing the September updates from Microsoft? We are having issues that mimic the issues last summer after installation of KB2775511 (hotfix rollup.)
- Event ID 10801: Discovery data couldn't be inserted to the database. - Event ID 2115: A Bind Data Source in Management Group <group name> has posted items to the workflow, but has not received a response in <number> seconds. - Event ID 31551: Failed to store data in the Data Warehouse. The operation will be retried. The issues started occurring right after the server was patched and restarted. We are running SCOM 2012 SP1 CU 1 on Windows Server 2008 R2 (with plans to upgrade to R2 UR3 soon....) >From my testing involving uninstalling of updates that were just installed >this weekend it looks like it might be caused by one of the .NET 3.5.1 >updates. After uninstalling these three updates things seem to have returned >to normal... for now...
