These problems should now be fixed by this patch: http://msmtp.git.sourceforge.net/git/gitweb.cgi?p=msmtp/msmtp;a=commitdiff;h=844cc4dd08d8915f5f248a3543729d31dcd41756 The account selection process should now be the same in --pretend mode, and additional informational messages should make clearer what's going on.
