I had a request for our lovely DBAs (aren't they always), that they need the North American locale (en_US.UTF-8) to be installed in order to do their Oracle DB patching. The box which they are trying to patch (well, it's actually a full-root zone), is based on Solaris 10 Update 10.
I have Sol10U11 media, but not Sol10U10. What are the implications of taking the necessary package (SUNWnamos) from s10u11 media and installing it on s10u10 system?
