well, it is theoretically possible to make gcc 64 bits FP complaint.
However, I am pretty certain, this will be ram exhaustive operations
(4 bytes per variable + temporary store.).

I am not sure about TI. they have different regs allocation scheme 
(brain-damaged-big-little-endian-mixed-etc).
So, this will be painfull.
