If you'll tell me exactly what I need for that, and if we can be
reasonably
assured that it won't break from release to release, I'm all for it. I use
the binutils-2.11 because, well... the web page said to. I'm not sure, but
I think you and Dmitry are the only two that have this stuff memorized.
Hopefully, you'll not be stepping off any curbs into oncoming trucks.
Is there a stable tag to pull from, so we're not getting the Best of
Redhat
every week? This is important to me, as a MSP430 developer. I've only
recently started getting the nerve to try the new releases, since it
requires revalidating all my applications. There were lots of CVS checkins
flying by in the past few months, in relation to the move to GCC 3.2. The
version I have is stable (3.0), and I can usually plan on any errors being
my programming, rather the compiler/libraries.
Thoughts?
