You can download a binary for msp430-gdbproxy from the mspgcc web site.
You can get the source for libHIL.so from CVS and build that. Together
these give you an interface between GDB or Insight, and the TI FET tool.
There are notes about this, and how to use it, on the mspgcc web site.
It has to be a separate program for copyright reasons.
