Sure, I didn't mean to say that you should use this new strl{cpy,cat}
license for msp430-libc. It was deliberately made less restrictive to
encourage its use in other projects (to replace the horrible strncpy
and strncat). But I think "our" copies of these functions should be
kept up-to-date with the original source, which is why I posted the
patch.
