I hope you got the power supply correct on the connector SV1 - on the drawing http://mitglied.lycos.de/netman12345/programmer.png they are reversed. The only think I would check, is the voltage level on the gates with respect to the 74HC244 data sheet requirements. You may be dealing with signal levels incompatibility. Carl
