I know, but misleading and outdated documentation is sometimes
worse then no documentation at all. I got really confused while
debugging one function due this misleading statement.

Btw, is there any good reason, why msp430 support is not being
integrated to GCC repository (like msp430-binutils are now)?
Same question with GDB.
