I used the installation program which I downloaded a few days after it was placed on the web, i.e. about June 10th.
The cygwin version is installed in the path "c:\cygwin" and the original cygwin-dll "cygwin1.dll" is in the path C:\cygwin\bin" and in the mspgcc path "c:\mspgcc\bin", but they are identically. If a add another function to that code which causes the error message it runs fine.
