the old JTAG interfaces have a connection on Xout. it was used by the
JTAG for old silicon, but you can cut that connection for all current
chips.
Hi chris, I'm sorry I don't get the point totally. For a f149 I can just cut
the connection between jtag (pin6) and xout(msp pin9), it works without?
They don't say this in the appnotes, or did I miss something?
What is "old silicon" 8051 ;-)?
