I wasn't planning on hijacking the list for TI's own purposes but since
I was asked to post a reply here I will...

There is currently no hard commitment for providing CCE on other host OS
platforms, although it has been discussed.  Such decisions tend to be
based upon user demand, so if you really want to see this happen I
encourage you to make use of the beta feedback process to make sure your
desires are heard.
