Hi-

I'm getting a error trying to build gcc (3.3.5) and was wondering if anyone
could help. I'm trying to build on an Ubuntu 5.04 system, using gcc 3.3.5
and binutils 2.15 (I also tried using binutils 2.16.1).

  The error I get is:

config/msp430/libgcc.S: Assembler messages:
config/msp430/libgcc.S:38: Error: junk `(r1)' after expression
config/msp430/libgcc.S:38: Error: too many memory references for `sub'
config/msp430/libgcc.S:39: Error: no such instruction: `subc 4(r1),r13'
... (more errors follow)

  Has anyone seen this before?

Thanks,
Kevin
