I just know the type *long long* (8 bytes long integer) of mspgcc. You can try it.

I even got compiler crashes when trying to shift 64 bits like: long long a, b; a= (b >> 24) & 0xffff; This particular piece of code probably won't make the compiler crash, but when used in a particular situation, the compiler crashed on similar instructions (can't reproduce it with a code snippet).
