Hello all, I still have some problems getting my ez430 tool running under Debian GNU/Linux (2.6.18).
I did all (I hope so) the stuff I could find here in the newsgroup and on the web, like using the patched ti_usb_3410_5052, and adding the udev scripts. The module gets loaded when I stick the device in, but everytime I get this, 8<----------------- usb 2-2: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 3 usb 2-2: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice ti_usb_3410 2-2:1.0: TI USB 3410 1 port adapter converter detected usb 2-2: ti_download_firmware - error downloading firmware, -32 ti_usb_3410: probe of 2-2:1.0 failed with error -5 ------------------->8 and no device like /dev/ttyUSBx has been created. What else could I do, please help me. Best regards.. ..Mario -- http://www.binaervarianz.de
