This builds the c compiler see if that works out.

You also need gcc-g++-3.2.3.tar.bz2 from the gnu archive, unziped after you unzip the gcc-core-3.2.3.tar.bz2 file.

I tried building the c++ compiler, but had a few problems, one is a bug in the c++ part of gcc-3.2.3 which does not compile with gcc-4, the next problem I found is that the c++ language tries to build libiberty and libstdc++v3 for the target, which don't work as there are some missing functions in msp430-libc. I managed to stop these being built by editing the Makefile manually, Ill see if there is a way of configuring this.

If you get the compiler working, the you need to compile your code with -fno-rtti and -fno-enforce-eh-specs. You wont be able to instantiate classes with the msp430 either as there is only limited memory, objects will have to be static.
