Hi Ralf, Just 30 minutes ago I had similar problem on my linux box. It "magically" appeared when I changed compilation options. I don't know the reason for this problem but after I have removed "-g" option from command line everything went good (except debugging symbols). So it looks like some combination of gcc options makes gdb "unhappy". But later I did separate compilation of two source files (with -g option) than link them together and it worked fine... Can someone explain this strange behaviour? Yuri.
