you'd need a new name like mspx or msp3
msp1 and msp2 are the standard msp430 CPUs without and with hardware
multiplier

Maybe mspx1 and mspx2, or msp3 and msp4. Right now the announced MSP430X
parts all have hardware multipliers, but don't assume that will always
be so. It probably will, but its a poor assumption.
