I cannot get msp430-gdbproxy to find the MSP430F2232 device it just says
"msp430: Could not find device"(or device not supported) (4)" and therefore
I cannot load code into the MSP430F2232. I'm using the MSP-FET430UIF V1.4
tool and trying to connect to the MSP430F2232 via JTAG signals. I have
excuted the command to update the MSP-FET430UIF tool firmware and it
successfully updated and to no avail. The command I'm using the connect/find
the MSP430F2232 is
msp430-gdbproxy --port=2000 msp430 TIUSB
I can however connect/find a MSP430F1121 device using the same procedure and
same equipment, but I cannot connect/find the MSP430F2232 and that is why I
have this question of whether mspgcc supports the MSP430F2232 device and if
it does what do i need to do to get the MSP430F2232 to be recognized?
I have also ordered the MSP430F22xx evaluation board(MSP-TS430DA38 Rev. 1.3)
and the msp430-gdbproxy cannot find the device on the evm board either.
Any help would greatly appreciated!
