Yes.  I can program the parts via either USB or parallel
interfaces under Windows using SW from Elprotronic or with the
IAR EW from the "kickstart" download. Debugging with IAR EW
works fine as well.

I can also read memory on the parts fine under Linux using
msp430-jtag and the parallel port interface (the '23x0 chips
aren't supported under Linux using the USB interface).  Using
msp430-jtag and the parallel the program flash operation
appears to work, but when you read back the flash, there are
always a few bits that are wrong.

And yes, I've tried different parts (and different target
boards). All behave the same whether it's an MSP-FET430U23X0
board from TI or one of two different in-house targets.

I've offered to test 23x0 support. I've volunteered to sign a
non-disclosure and help add/fix 23x0 support.  Those offers
still stand.
