aha!

i found the patch that has to be applied to binutils before yours, problem 
solved.

sorry about the confusion. i'll let you know what i find out and send you any mods that i have to make.

The old version contained some wrong RAM/stack offsets for msp430x247,
msp430x2471, msp430x248, msp430x2481, msp430x2410.
