Hello,

I've read multiple posts relating to problems arising from using msp430-gdb
on the newer MSP430 chips. It seems that the msp430.dll/libmsp430.so files
are compiled from proprietary sources and the latest version for download
dates back to 2006.

I'm using the new F5438 chips for our design and was wondering if anyone had
comments on the status of msp430-gdb with regards to support for the latest
chips. Also, who is the steward of those proprietary sources for
msp430.dll/libmsp430.so?

Thanks,

Bikash
