I was doing some work on a open msp430-gdbproxy the other day using the 
existing gdbproxy code in the repository and have memory read and register 
read/write working now.

I did have a thought that a good way of doing the memory configuration may be 
through a monitor command, so that it could be configured by the user using a 
gdb command. This may even allow the gdbproxy to generic to all devices so 
would not need to be re-compiled every time TI releases a new device.
