Hi all,

I am writing my student thesis which in part uses mspgcc.
I came across a problem in some code I was comping which used mspgcc header
file definitions,
due to the difference between the definition in the series 1 chips:

in msp430x16x.h
__MSP430_HAS_PORT1__

and the definition in the series 2 chips:

in msp430x22x4.h
__MSP430_HAS_PORT2_R__

I would like to know if someone could please tell me what this R stands for,
and
if there is a special reason why it is not defined like the series 1 chips.

Thanks

Kind Regards
Anthony
