Hey folks,

I may have asked this question last year, but with summer break coming
not to far off, I'm looking for parts to a project I've been trying to
get going since last year.

My needs, some light weight mcu with a handful of adc or two wire bus
(i2c, ect) to do some simple data collection, power pack voltage,
temp, ect. In addition, cheap (sub $20) unit cost and zigbee would be
prime.

I've looked at the TI msp430-2500, but as my prefered dev box is
linux, I've been holding off because the setup would be more work than
the actual target coding/devel. (reflashing roms using a mishmash of
hardware? yikes) It also only has one adc onboard, I'd have to do
everything on an i2c bus which is less than ideal. (Planning on using
quite a few of the little buggers)

Anyone else found a supplier of little widget boards that do this
basic kind of job? I'd prefer not to even have to build an i2c chain,
best would be to have 2 or more adc channels (precision is not a high
priority). Also limited to the 3.3v ish range, although 5v is doable.

In the past I've been mostly an avr guy (http://www.bdmicro.com/) but
thats much too costly and too power hungry for my plans, and I'd
really like not to have to hack together a pic.

gratz in advance for any suggestions
