Hi,
I had a similar error message several months ago. I had forgotten to
specify the -mmcu parameter. Maybe it is the same issue.
Greetings,
Wolfgang

Hello Daniel,
I am using Eclipse and MSPGCC and MSP430F1611 too. I have no problems
compiling my code.
I guess, there is something miss configured in your code or the eclipse
project.
If you want, you may send (me) your code or even better your eclipse
project.
Greetings
Matthias

Hello guys, sorry, I sent this message before, but now I put a little more
information. I'm trying to compile my program, but I got the following
response error: * section. 0xffe0 vectors AML overlaps previous sections *
region text is full * section. vectors [000000000000ffe0 ->
000000000000ffff] overlaps section. text [000000000000fc00 ->
0000000000010fbd] I am using eclipse with the mspgcc. I tried to modify the
level of optimization in eclipse, but don't happened anything. Is it means
that the code is too big for the memory of the msp ? I'm using msp430F1611.
I checked the size of the compiled archive and it has only 22KB. So, I'm not
undertanding, because the memory size of MSP430F1611 is: Flash 48 KB RAM 10
KB Has someone any idea? Thank you Daniel
