I tried USB on linux (ubuntu) with no luck, and setting up a virtual xp machine with USB access was also too hard (at least for me!).
I hope I'm wrong, but I think for a novice or non-software guy, the fastest way (without reconfiguring / recompiling stuff) is to connect the programmer to a windows pc running gdbproxy and the latest olimex drivers. Put the win pc in a network with the linux box, and connect the debugger to the correct gdproxy port via a tcp/ip link. Good luck! Any tips on how to get it going would be greatly appreciated. > -- > Rick Jenkins <[email protected]> > Hartman Technica http://www.hartmantech.com > Phone +1 (403) 230-1987 > 221 35 Avenue.
