I had been using IAR with my CC1110 work; so, being familiar with it, I installed the MSP430 version of IAR when I started the Chronos project. And you are right, after I started this porting I took a look at the CCS source code and see that it is a bit more compliant.... However, I think I am almost done with the IAR port now and don't want to start (nearly) over with the CCS. I think these __intrinsic functions are my last hurdle (wishful thinking....?)

BTW, I didn't download the chronos source, I take it you did. Isn't
there a CCS sources set? It is much more complaint than IAR.
