I've been working with a MSP430F1232 for a couple of weeks using
msp430-gdbproxy, msp430-gdb and an Olimex JTAG adapter.
But now when I run gdproxy I get an error message:
"msp430: Could not find device (or device not supported) (4)".
This has happened several times in the last few days but with fiddling with
the connector and/or retrying several times could get it to run normally;
but no longer. Other boards I have (F1132, F1121A) are recognized correctly.
With the JTAG adapter disconnected the code presently in the chip runs OK.
Is it likely I have damaged this chip? Is there any way to recover from this
situation aside from replacing the chip?
