The 868 and 915 MHz access point HW have only one difference: the 868 
MHz one has a zero resistor near the antenna while the 915 MHz one has 
not. Both can be programmed with either frequency. Actually, my AP is a 
868 MHz (has the resistor) but was last flashed with a 915 MHz firmware.

Normally the access point should not be (re)programmed; it is just 
basically a USB-to-RF converter which provides a link between a PC and 
the watch.
