The mspgcc wiki at https://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/mspgcc/index.php?title=MSPGCC_Wiki is a community maintained resource. As noted in http://www.mail-archive.com/mspgcc-users@lists.sourceforge.net/msg10039.html, I won't be reviewing it for suitability let alone accuracy.
Currently anybody can be granted authority to edit the pages by submitting a support request (or mailing here), as described on the main page. I think I've received maybe two such requests in the last couple months. It may be that even that is too high a barrier to entry. I propose that edit permissions be granted to anybody who has a login, which may or may not be the same as anybody who visits that page while logged in to sourceforge. This would make it easier for people to refine and add material, but may also turn it into garbage. Opinions on that change? If this change happens, I'd like two or more volunteers who are willing to become wiki administrators, taking on the responsibility of management (i.e., limit the number of links to Wild Sex Kittens of Pluto). Preferably people who have some experience with administering a MediaWiki and who know what the different permissions switches mean. Anybody think this is worth doing enough to volunteer? Unless the consensus is in favor of the change and we get at least two volunteers to be administrators, things will remain as they are today.
