Just for good measure, I pointed the wiki to the new files. I followed the instructions against the A versions, and patched them without issue. When decompressed, the 'A' doesn't show up in the file names, so there should be no need to update the patches.
In the process, however, I found a couple typo's in the instructions on how to patch, so I fixed them. Both binutils and gdb patched, compiled and installed without issue. The changes that Peter showed don't have any impact on the MSP430 stuff. ada, On 08/29/2011 09:19 AM, Peter Bigot wrote: > Amusing. http://www.cygwin.com/ml/binutils/2011-08/msg00158.html > hints that GNU's been violating their own license by not providing the > complete source necessary to rebuild a system.
