3420924 fixes debugging main with gdb. There should be no more off-by-N address errors for stack variables. See https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=3420924&group_id=42303&atid=432701 3500740 restores a missed register replacement when an upstream bug fix was backported for mspgcc, and eliminates the incorrect introduction of zero as the base for an array reference.
