I have Server 2012 running with storage pool on JBOD and I’m getting roughly
51% in space savings, which is about 1.58TB.

PS C:\Windows\system32> get-dedupvolume

Enabled SavedSpace SavingsRate Volum
------- ---------- ----------- -----
True 1.58 TB 51 % R:
True 0 B 0 % I:
True 4.45 GB 2 % V:

So I would go with Server 2012 for sure. Plus, going with Server 2012 keeps you
in a supported OS longer. 😊

True but Server 2012 SIS is at a binary level whereas the ConfigMgr SIS is at a
file level. I’ve seen reports of significant savings.

But you get SiS w/SCCM 2012 in the contentlib with or without Server 2012

Is there any benefits to install SCCM 2012 SP1 on Windows Server 2012 vs.

If so can you provide me with your justification?
