Along with studying... If you went to MMS and still have access to the labs it helps to go through all the different ConfigMgr labs before the test. From: [email protected] To: [email protected] Subject: [mssms] RE: Books for MCTS Date: Tue, 28 May 2013 17:28:15 +0000
If you have a good grasp of SCCM 2007, to pass the 2012 certification test, make sure to have a thorough understanding of the changes from 2007 – 2012. I spent a lot of time in my lab learning the console and new features. I found no one particular book or study material outside of TechNet very useful. There is a lot of good information here: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/7075.system-center-2012-configuration-manager-survival-guide.aspx If you do not have a lab or access to one, the TechNet labs are a good resource. If you don’t want to actually follow the prescribed lab, you at least have an SCCM playground for 90 minutes. Does anyone have any recommendations on a good study book? I feel I have a pretty good handle on the majority of the information, just looking for something to fill in some of the gaps.
