That's the answer I was looking for. Is this info available somewhere on
Microsoft site? Much easier to explain management with link.

Because updates are only published through wsus every 6 hours.

They are released more frequently on the protection center site.

Why there is always time lag between below Microsoft site shows
definition version and what SCCM2012 downloads? Even though we check and
download definition every hour in SCCM2012 but we are always behind
couple of definitions compare to below site. Even if I manually force
definition download in SCCM, it still does not match what below site is
reporting. Is this normal behavior because SCCM downloads definition
from different site than below site?
