Can you look in your UDIWizard_Configu.xml (or whatever config file defines your UDI wizard properties) with the wizard and verify that your task sequence software base variable is 'APPLICATIONS' without the sing quotes. You can find this by clicking on the Install Programs page then the Edit Software Settings button.
Next, open your task sequence and look at the Prepare Application List. The coalescePattern argument should be 'Applications' and the coalesceTarget argument should be 'CoalescedApps'. Again without single quotes. Ex: cscript.exe "%deployroot%\scripts\ZTICoalesce.wsf" /CoalescePattern:Applications /CoalesceTarget:CoalescedApps /CoalesceDigits:2 Then check your Install Applications step. The base variable name should be 'CoalescedApps'. Hope that might help. If you are actually choosing apps, that variable COALESCEDAPPS01 should exist. If your apps are still installing fine, I would apply the fix. If they aren't, you have a deeper problem. Also, please note this is Applications not Packages.
