Privilege Management Isn't there a GPO that will let non-admins install printers? _____ John Marcum Sr. Desktop Architect Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP _____ From: listsad...@lists.myitforum.com <mailto:listsad...@lists.myitforum.com> [mailto:listsad...@lists.myitforum.com] On Behalf Of Eric Morrison Sent: Monday, January 13, 2014 2:50 PM To: mssms@lists.myitforum.com <mailto:mssms@lists.myitforum.com> ; myotfo...@lists.myitforum.com <mailto:myotfo...@lists.myitforum.com> Subject: [mssms] OT: Sorta... Privilege Management Currently in our environment, all Laptop users are local administrators. I’ve been asked to evaluate software that will allow us to grant specific applications elevated rights and to allow end-users the ability to install printers. They obviously need to do this as a regular user on their machine and not a local admin. The only products I know of are Viewfinity and Dell’s (formally Quest) Privilidged Account Management. Are there any others that I should consider evaluating, or any that play nice or integrate with ConfigMgr 2012 R2 in any way? Thanks!
