Not sure if this is true or not:
Configuration manager automatically corrects this scenario by recreating a
self-signed certificate, whether or not the original invalid certificate was
created by PKI or Configuration Manager. The expiration date for the newly
created self-signed certificate is 30 years after the creation date. Check the
hman.log in the [Configuration Manager Installation folder]\Logs for further
information.

Subject: [mssms] The database certificate on computer <SITE SERVER> is not valid

This is a SCOM alert that keeps popping. We checked
All certificates related to SCCM
On all site servers including the database servers
Data is flowing from all site roles to the database and back

SCCM 2012 SP1 CU3
SCOM 2012 SP1 (unknown CU)
SCOM Management Pack for SCCM 2012 RTM. My SCOM resource says there is no
update beyond that for the SCCM MP and showed me the catalog.

Anyone seen this? SCCM is a NOC monitored app in my environment and it's not
GREEN!

Thanks,
