Well, it is broken now and if anything else starts breaking a site reset may
help then.
I've actually used this in the script as a pre-req step before installing
anything:
if ((get-itemproperty -path 'HKLM:\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\SMS\Mobile
Client' -name ProductVersion -ErrorAction SilentlyContinue)) {write-host
-ForegroundColor green "Uninstalling CM07 client..." ;
&"C:\Windows\ccmsetup\ccmsetup.exe" --% /uninstall | out-host ; if
($lastexitcode -ne 0) {Write-Host -ForegroundColor red "$lastexitcode ERROR
Uninstall client !!!"} ELSE {Write-Host -ForegroundColor green "Deleting
namespaces" ; gwmi -Namespace 'root' -Query "select * from __namespace where
name ='ccm'" | Remove-WmiObject}}

Hmmm, make a backup first before doing this. The system is already a primary
site server. I've never checked (and it's not documented) whether or not
that namespace is exclusive to the client & MP. I think it is, but what I
think doesn't really matter in this case.

Brian, try this:
- Uninstall client (obviously..)
- gwmi -Namespace 'root' -Query "select * from __namespace where
name ='ccm'" | Remove-WmiObject (powershell)

Ouch. That's almost certainly the root of your issue. It may be time to call
CSS though. Have you installed a 2012 client agent yet?

BTW - CM07 client was inadvertently installed and then removed prior to the
installation of this Primary site. :(

Subject: [mssms] MP Install Issue CM12 R2
Date: Mon, 3 Feb 2014 15:47:54 -0600
I am trying to install a MP on my standalone Primary server and i'm getting
the following error:
Product ConfigMgr Managmeent Point - Error 25140 Setup was unable to compile
the file CcmExec_Global.mof. The error code is 80041002.
I looked in IIS first and noticed I missed ASP. I added the component and
restarted IIS.
Then I removed the MP and re-added the MP again. I get the error mentioned
above.
Also, when I browse to <http://cm01/SMS_MP/.sms_aut?MPList>
http://cm01/SMS_MP/.sms_aut?MPList I get the following error: HTTP Error
404.0 - Not Found error.
Any ideas on how to troubleshoot?
Thanks,
Brian
