Yeah, I've had the xml get borked before. I never edit outside of the tool, so I haven't been able to figure out how it happens.

During, after build or at deployment time? It at deployment time, what are you using to deploy it, SCCM or MDT. I've never ran into this issue at build time that I can recall.
