Ahhh, thanks, I hadn't actually clicked through to the download for any of them yet. I was expecting it to be a separate line item like Service Packs used to be ala "Windows 7 with SP1" for example.

(See the discussion below, it still needs to have KB2934018 and KB2959977 installed to complete the set.) I have the 8.1/R2 ISOs but the Update 1 ISOs haven't shown up yet for either. If you start from the Windows 8.1 Update ISOs from VLSC and plug them into a WSUS (or ConfigMgr or Intune) environment where you've approved 2919355, you'll see it install about 100MB of stuff, not the full 800MB or so. The 100MB stuff is comprised of KB2934018 and the new WUA SSL fix KB2959977. Thanks, -Michael p.s. And yes, I've been discussing this so much over the past days and weeks that I now have all of those numbers memorized... But MS isn't releasing a new one with all the fixes. Clients will still have to come to CM (or WSUS) and run the 2919355 to get the last of the fixes which I believe is just a new WUA that works with SSL. Clients won't actually run the entire beast all over again. _________________ Brian Mason MCTS, MS MVP ECM http://www.mnscug.org/ From: listsad...@lists.myitforum.com<mailto:listsad...@lists.myitforum.com> [mailto:listsad...@lists.myitforum.com] On Behalf Of Michael Niehaus Sent: Wednesday, April 16, 2014 2:16 PM To: mssms@lists.myitforum.com<mailto:mssms@lists.myitforum.com> Subject: [mssms] RE: 2919355 (the spring update) is back on WSUS See here for more details: http://blogs.windows.com/windows/b/springboard/archive/2014/04/16/windows-8-1-update-and-wsus-availability-and-adjusted-timeline.aspx Thanks, -Michael ________________________________ From: listsad...@lists.myitforum.com<mailto:listsad...@lists.myitforum.com> <listsad...@lists.myitforum.com<mailto:listsad...@lists.myitforum.com>> on behalf of Brian Mason <br...@mnscug.org<mailto:br...@mnscug.org>> Sent: Wednesday, April 16, 2014 12:11 PM To: mssms@lists.myitforum.com<mailto:mssms@lists.myitforum.com> Subject: [mssms] 2919355 (the spring update) is back on WSUS Finally! _________________ Brian Mason MCTS, MS MVP ECM http://www.mnscug.org/
