On clients it's Bitlocker and the Windows Firewall (GPO).... On servers it's Windows Firewall (GPO) and...for our outside firewalls we have McAfee....and boy...do our Network Guys love that one (not)....
I agree on the suite perpective....but look around what MS gives you out of the box....you "own" more than you might realize...and yes...it might not be perfect...but at least it has better integration features than some of the (expensive) 3rd party products.... -----Original Message----- From: listsad...@lists.myitforum.com [mailto:listsad...@lists.myitforum.com] On Behalf Of Miller, Todd Sent: Thursday, April 17, 2014 8:49 PM To: mssms@lists.myitforum.com Subject: RE: [mssms] SCEP SCEP is AV only though, right? What do you do to manage your firewall and disk encryption? I don’t appreciate the salad bar approach to security - a little bit from here a little bit from there. I want a suite to manage all the pieces. I suppose that is why McAfee wins the magic quadrant comparisons. I hate McAfee as much as the next guy, but I don’t see anything better on the market. There have been genuine performance improvements since Intel took ownership. -----Original Message----- From: listsad...@lists.myitforum.com [mailto:listsad...@lists.myitforum.com] On Behalf Of Johan van Dijk Sent: Thursday, April 17, 2014 11:16 AM To: mssms@lists.myitforum.com Subject: RE: [mssms] SCEP Why would you do that...? Try doing a full scan again a 10 TB SAN using SCEP.
