I noticed during my testing doing from 2012 Sp1 to 2012 R2 that the software centre etc broke due to a required Silverlight version not being present, I ended up deploying the latest x86 and x64 versions of Silverlight separately which fixed the issue.
I didn't look into any further though at the time. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Todd Hemsell Sent: Thursday, 8 May 2014 7:48 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [mssms] Silverlight for R2 The SCCM client installs Silverlight x86. The http://www.microsoft.com/silverlight/ page gives me the x64 version when I download it Interestingly if you have an OLDER version with the x64 flavor, the newer x86 flavor included with the sccm 2012 R2 client will not install. Have any of you encountered this yet? Getting really sick of this poor programming :-( ________________________________ CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE AND DISCLAIMER The information in this transmission may be confidential and/or protected by legal professional privilege, and is intended only for the person or persons to whom it is addressed.
