did you try rebooting the server (sometimes ,it fix the issue)  and try running 
the backup service ? also take a look at this KB article

I did Every thing what Eswar Said , but no result. The error remains the same. 
m_pBackupComponents->StartSnapshotSet(&m_SnapshotSetId) failed. Error code =

backup service to start the sccm backup?


When you are running the backup, sms executive services will be stopped to make 
sure no activities performed and start the services once backup finished.

Give a try manual start of sms backup service and see what happens.
