Don't put SQL offbox unless you absolutely have to. Usually no pros and
several cons in doing so.

Subject: [mssms] New site installation

We are setting up a new site with ConfigMan CB. Management wants to host the
database on our SQL cluster. Does anyone know if using a CNAME is supported in
the setup wizard when it prompts for database information? Are there any
"gotchas" we should look out for in this kind of setup (SQL cluster)?

Appreciate any feedback...

Thanks,
Kevin
