Greetings,

First off, I understand the following question would necessitate further 
details regarding SCCM environment, and intended function. So assume the 
broadest of configurations.

What would be the repercussions in a SCCM managed environment;

1.       If client hardware and software inventory was not collected?

2.       If client hardware and software inventory was configured to be 
collected, but not reporting correctly?

3.       If your company purchased another company.

a.       This included domain and pre-existing SCCM infrastructure.

b.       The client's being acquired were configured to collect hardware and 
software inventory, and it's possible the client uninstall was a failure to 
some degree, perhaps failing to remove certain files.
